Arsenal legend's son signs first professional contract for Real Madrid four years after father's tragic death | The Sun

THE son of Arsenal legend Jose Antonio Reyes has signed his first professional contract with Real Madrid.

Jose Antonio Reyes Junior, 16, has impressed the club with his performances for the B team since joining the academy in 2019.

And he has now put pen to paper on a pro deal – four years after the death of his father.

Reyes Jr, who was a part of the Spain side that reached the semi-finals of the U17 Euros in May, said: "It is a very special moment for me.

"I have signed my first professional contract with Real Madrid and I want to thank the club for its trust and my family for its daily support.

"I will continue working and doing my best to go very far."
