My canines were so gappy they should've had their own postcode – I splashed out on Turkey teeth and I'm really happy | The Sun

A MAN has revealed that he went to Turkey and got himself a set of bright white teeth.

Daniel Rossetter, a multi-award winning tattoo artist from ‘A Star Tattoos’, explained that his canines were so gappy they should’ve had their own postcode, so he decided to fly abroad and splash out on some new gnashers.

The man, who is from South London, explained that he is “proper happy” with his new smile – but his dental result has left people totally divided.

While some were super impressed with his new teeth, not everyone was as keen, and mean trolls said his teeth were “too white” and looked like a “gumshield.”

Daniel is just one of many who has flown to Turkey and had his teeth done, in a trend that has proved extremely popular on social media and has been dubbed "Turkey teeth".

The TikTok hashtag "#TurkeyTeeth" has reached more than 130 million views.

Several reality TV influencers and celebrities have also had veneers done, including former Love Island star Jack Fincham and Katie Price.

Showing off the process of getting veneers on social media, Daniel said: “Come with me to get some Turkey teeth.

“I'm one of these people who have never been happy with my smile, always sort of not being confident.

“This was my opportunity to be able to get my perfect smile, get my canines sorted out, because they may as well have their own postcodes – they were all over the shop.”

We then saw Daniel show off his smile, after his first trip to the dentist, as he continued: “So my first day, I had to have my bottom teeth filed down and two root canals, which means that nerves had to be deaded off.”

Then we saw the tattoo artist on day two, as he showed off his filed down teeth.

He added: “Then this was where I had my temps fitted. So day two, I had to have my top teeth filed down, ready to have my permanent put in, which by day four, this is where I come to get to see him properly.”

Once he had his veneers fitted, he explained: “I was literally over the moon.

“25 Emax veneers later and I was looking a 10/10 rocket.

“Overall, I was proper happy with the whole process.”

The man later added: “Didn’t feel a thing which was a blessing.”

The TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @astartattoos, has clearly left many stunned, as at the time of writing, it had quickly amassed 101,500 views.

But social media users were divided at Daniel’s new smile – as many took to the comments to express.

One person said: “For Turkey teeth, they look amazing.. good job.”

Another added: “Most realistic I’ve seen, looks good.”

A third commented: “Looks class.”

Meanwhile, another posted: “They look wicked.”

However, not everyone was as kind.

One user wrote: “Savage job.”

A second chimed in: “Too white!”

Someone else penned: “Gum shield.”
