Pete Wicks enjoys night out with I’m A Celeb stars’ families as he supports BFF Sam Thompson

While the I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! campmates continue to take on life in the jungle, their loved ones have been making the most of their time in Australia and getting to know one another.

Contestants' parents, partners and friends have all jetted out to Oz to support them during their jungle stint, with evictions having begun on Sunday, 3 December. So far, Frankie Dettori, Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix have all been voted off the ITV show.

Pete Wicks is among the group of loved ones out in Australia, with the TOWIE favourite having jetted out to support best friend Sam Thompson.

Pete, 35, has been making the most of his time Down Under and has been spotted on a number of nights out with fellow I'm A Celebrity contestants' family members.

On Wednesday, 6 December, the reality TV star headed out with Sarah Corrin, the girlfriend of Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard, as well as EastEnders star Danielle Harold's mum Lisa Marie Carter and stepdad David Murray.

The group were spotted on a night out in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast ahead of the next I'm A Celebrity eviction, which will take place in Australia on Thursday morning.

Pete sported a black unbuttoned shirt and matching jeans for the outing, paired with sandals and a number of gold rings. He was seen chatting to Sarah, who looked stylish in a zebra print co-ord set with her brunette locks pulled back into a plait.

Pete was later spotted taking a breather outside, as he enjoyed a cigarette alone while taking in the views.

Pete opened up about his trip to Australia to OK!, revealing that while he's there to support best friend Sam, 31, he's also looking to have a holiday after a "manic year".

"I’ve had such a manic year, I’ve not had a holiday. So I’m semi-treating this as my little bit of time off. I’ll probably get a motorbike and see the Gold Coast, and catch up with a few people I know out there," Pete told us.

He jokingly added: "There are two reasons I’m going – one is to have a bit of time off because this year has been hectic, and two is to slap Sam when he comes across the bridge.‌"

The TOWIE star has been supporting Made in Chelsea star Sam throughout his I'm A Celebrity stint and has expressed how "proud" he is of him and how he's came across on the show.

Pete told OK!: "I’m so proud of him. He can be a lot, but that’s part of the reason I love him. It’s lovely the public are seeing that side to him. He’s smashing it. I didn’t think I’d say it, but I do miss him. He’s not just my mate, he’s my brother."
