Who will be supporting Tommy Fury at the ringside? From fiancée Molly-Mae Hague’s heartbreaking sacrifice to loyal brother Tyson’s mentorship how the boxer’s family will rally around him at KSI match

There’s expected to be millions of fans tuning in to watch Tommy Fury take on KSI during Saturday’s match at AO Arena. 

Yet for Tommy there are only two faces he’ll be looking out for in the crowd, with the boxer relying on the support from his family members. 

Most important is his fiancée Molly-Mae Hague, with whom he shares 10-month-old daughter Bambi and his brother Tyson Fury.

Tommy and Molly met on Love Island in 2019 and got engaged in July, have formed a power couple, with Tommy supporting Molly in her work as an influencer while she is at her side for matches. 

Yet while Molly-Mae will be at the AO Arena to show her support for her fiancé, it’s unlikely she’ll be able to watch the game.

Tommy previously revealed that his partner ‘hates’ the sport and refuses to watch or talk about it. 

During an appearance on BBC Breakfast this month, the boxer confessed: ‘Molly watches the ground while I fight. She only tolerates boxing because she knows how happy it makes me. That’s it.

‘Other than that she hates it. She doesn’t like talking about it, she doesn’t like watching it, nothing, which I can understand.

‘She’s watching her partner, the father to her baby, getting in the ring, have a fight and get punched up,’ he went on.

‘It’s not a nice feeling to go through so I commend her, I do.’

Molly will no doubt be glad for the fight to be over after she was separated from Tommy for 10 weeks while he took part in an intense training camp. 

Tommy told The Sun: ‘Home is probably 15 minutes away from the camp, have I been going back? No. 

‘I’ve seen them once a week for the past ten weeks and that’s just because I want to zone in and concentrate.

‘You have to make sacrifices in this game and who else – especially in this game – no one is doing that.’

He went on to promise that he will make KSI ‘pay for everything he’s said over this past 10 weeks’, referencing the YouTuber trash talking him. 

Tommy was victorious in his last big fight, when he took on Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia in February and won on split decision. 

The match came just weeks after he and Molly welcomed daughter Bambi, with the new mother staying at their home in Manchester and cheering Tommy on from afar. 

Staying back with their newborn, the Love Island star was joined by her sister Zoe and pals Maura Higgins, Ellen Graham and Stephanie Lam for a watching party.

But she wasn’t actually present for the fight itself, as her sister shared a clip of Molly-Mae taking shelter in her bedroom while the others watched the clash. 

Yet proving she was backing him all the way, Molly-Mae took to Instagram to share a gushing tribute with her 7.3M followers.

Posting a snap where she shared a kiss with Tommy and cradled their daughter Bambi, she penned: ‘The pressure that was on this boys shoulders.. I will never ever know how he dealt with it.

‘Never been more proud of anyone in my life. GET HOME TO US OUR CHAMP,’ continued the PrettyLittleThing Creative Director.

Sharing another snap of her partner with his winning belt, Molly-Mae added: ‘Never a doubt in my mind’.

Another one of Tommy’s biggest supporters is his half-brother and reigning heavyweight champion boxer, Tyson Fury. 

Tommy has praised Tyson for helping him become the sportsman he is today, telling Press Association Sport: ‘I couldn’t have asked for a better start. I’ve got the best start in the world that anyone could have ever hoped for.

‘I wouldn’t be here without Tyson and everybody knows that, I’m thanking him very much for it. But now I’m here, I’m going to make good use of it.’

Tyson accompanied his younger brother to Saudia Arabia for his match against Jake and was so confident in his sibling’s abilities that he placed a £100,000 wager on him winning the match.

Speaking to iFL TV, the Gypsy King explained: ‘Tommy knocks out 90 per cent of people that he spars with or drops them at least, so he’s a very hard puncher and Jake Paul will find that out tomorrow.

‘I’ve got 100 racks on it for an inside-the-distance stoppage, so if he loses, then I’ll lose 100 bags as well. I’ve got him at 3/1. I know Tommy is going to knock him out.’

Tyson of course understands how valuable it is to have the support of family when in the ring, with wife Paris turning out to attend his matches. 

Yet the mother-of-seven admitted it’s ‘very difficult’ to watch, explaining: ‘I remember years ago, women used to say to me, “Smile, you’re on camera.” And I used to say, “No, the person I love is getting punched in the ring. I’m not smiling…” 

‘You just have to accept it because it’s something that he wanted to do, but as you’re watching, I take every punch he takes. Cringing inside. 

‘I don’t look very pretty ringside… It’s getting harder, because every fight is a harder fight. Obviously, it’s higher level.’

Paris added that she’d only taken their children to see Tyson fight once, explaining: ‘I don’t think children should be at the sport. Everyone can do as they please, but I don’t think it’s a sport children should get too involved in… 

‘It’s nice for them to watch on telly, to see Dad in the limelight, but you can always switch the telly off if things go wrong.’

It can be expected that their children, Venezuela, 13, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II, seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah, four, Athena, two, and Prince Rico, four weeks, will not be in attendance to cheer on their uncle Tommy.

Tyson and Tommy’s father John will be at the fight and has been heavily involved in the build-up to this weekend’s fight. 

The former boxer caused the first press conference in August to be brought to an abrupt end when he smashed and flipped tables on stage.

Shocking: John attacked a glass panel separating Tommy from KSI during the latest press conference between the pair  

His actions led to Misfits Boxing putting in more precautions for a later press conference as they introduced a cage with a panel to separate the fighters.

This did not stop John from making his way to the stage, though, and doing his best to put a hole through the panel with his fists and head.

After several minutes of trash talking between the two men, John got on stage and into the cage before smashing the panel with multiple punches and finishing off by throwing a headbutt.

He then continued to launch a verbal attack towards KSI before finally being led away by security.
