Sara Sharif’s father has appeared in a video message for the first time since her tragic death. The 10-year-old girl was discovered dead in her home in Woking, Surrey, on August 10, after her father, Urfan Sharif, called 911 from Pakistan.
Urfan Sharif, his partner Beinash Batool, and Sara’s uncle, Faisal Malik, are being sought internationally after the tragic death.
Mr Sharif and Ms Batool are seen together in a recently released video, with Ms Batool delivering a statement.
She said in the shocking video that their family is eager to work with UK authorities and defend their case in court.

Ms Batool said: “Firstly, I would like to talk about Sara. Sara’s death was an incident. Our family in Pakistan are severely affected by all that is going on.”
Before adding: “Imran [one of Mr Sharif’s brothers] did not give a statement that Sara fell down the stairs and broke her neck.
“This was spread through a Pakistani media outlet. I am very worried about Imran’s safety.”
Officers from the National Crime Agency have been working with Interpol and Pakistani law enforcement to find Urfan, who is 41 years old.
Urfan, Beinash, and Faisal are known to have departed Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, on August 9, the day before Sara’s lifeless body was discovered.
Pakistani police had stated that there was indications that Urfan temporarily returned to his family’s Jhelum residence.
Pakistani law enforcement is broadening their investigation regions as the search for the fugitive three intensifies.
Notably, the lack of an extradition treaty between Pakistan and the UK makes bringing the suspects back to the UK for questioning difficult.
