MANCHESTER UNITED fans hailed Hannibal Mejbri after two sensational stats showed his impressive work rate in their win over Burnley.

Erik ten Hag's men ended a run of three straight defeats with a 1-0 victory at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Attacking midfielder Hannibal made his first start of the season against Burnley – having come off the bench to score in the 3-1 loss to Brighton.

And Sky Sports have revealed he covered 12.9 kilometres during the game, more than any Man Utd player since Ten Hag took over at the beginning of last season.

Hannibal also boasts the most pressures per 90 minutes of any Premier League player so far this season.

He is averaging a sensational 100 pressures, 21.3 more than the next best in Rasmus Hojlund.
