Frankie Dettori rubs Noel Gallagher's face in it after Arsenal beat Man City… before going back to live in his gym | The Sun

FRANKIE DETTORI looked to have a great time rubbing Noel Gallagher's face in it as the pair posed for a photo after Arsenal beat Man City.

Dettori's beloved Gunners saw off the former Oasis star's team 1-0 thanks to Gabriel Martinelli's 86th-minute winner.

Gallagher looked less than happy as he stopped for a selfie with the world's most famous jockey at the Emirates.

And Dettori said 'see you for round two' at the Etihad on March 30 next year for the rematch – which could turn out to be crucial in the title race.

Dettori – who will be enjoying his retirement by then – also stopped for a drink with Ray Parlour and Alan Brazil as well as grabbing another photo with Arsenal legend Ian Wright.

The jockey will have all the time in the world to watch his side once he hangs up his whip for good at the end of this year.

His final rides in Britain – including the plum one on King Of Steel in the Champion Stakes – will be at Ascot this Saturday for their star-studded Champions weekend.

Dettori confirmed he won't ride again in Britain while making an appearance on Racing TV on Sunday.

And he apologised for the state of the room he was in, admitting he is now living in his gym after finding someone to rent out his £15,000-a-month Newmarket mansion.

Dettori hopes to travel the world with his wife and mother of their five children, Catherine, once he retires.

He said he also has hopes of buying a central London flat and enjoying the high life in the city after a lifetime spent in the countryside.
