Summer Walker released a new EP, titled Girls Need Love (Girls Mix), on Friday, October 20.
The EP serves as an extension of her 2018 track titled “Girls Need Love.” The song peaked at No. 37 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 and spent a total of 20 weeks on the tally.
Girls Need Love (Girls Mix) includes three remixes of the track featuring Victoria Monet, Tyla and Tink.
The original solo version of “Girls Need Love” as well as an acoustic version of the track released on Monday are also included on the EP.
“Last day of summer is officially platinum and to thank you guys after 5 years of loving this project, I’m releasing new Girls Need Love Remixes Friday,” Walker wrote on Instagram. “@champagnepapi blessed this song 5 years ago but GIRLS NEED LOVE TOO.”
